BBA

BBA is the acronym for Bachelor of Business Administration. BBA is a bachelor’s degree programme is the most desired course after 12th standard, which imparts management training to students. BBA course is considered as the stepping-stone in the corporate sector and BBA course helps students to develop managerial skills, communication skills, and decision-making skills.
The core subjects of BBA are Finance, Accounting, Management, Information Systems, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Business Statistics etc.
Eligibility
A candidate who has passed 12th Standard examination in any stream with English as a subject can enroll for admission to Bachelor of Business Administration. Minimum percentage of marks has to be 45%. Minimum age of candidate has to be 17 years but may vary from university to university. Candidate who wishes to enroll for BBA has to appear and succeed in a common entrance test that is applicable to that college or university.
Admission Procedure
Admission procedure may vary from college to college and university to university. But, here a general synopsis regarding admission procedure is provided. Respective Colleges or Universities invite applications from candidates seeking admission in BBA Course. Governing bodies conduct entrance examination for candidates. Successful candidates are called upon for counseling and the students seek admission in BBA course in their desired college or university.
Course Duration
The course duration is of 3 years having six semesters.  In order to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, candidate has to pass in all the six semesters. There are different subjects in different semesters and thus candidate gains knowledge for vast number of areas.
Future Prospects
Candidates can enroll for MBA degree after doing BBA.  BBA is an entry-level program that prepares students for the corporate sector. BBA pass-outs can get good work offers from organizations.
